Objectives

The goal is to develop decision-support databases and tools for the industrial decarbonization and share models with international partners

Profile

  • Interest in modeling of industrial and chemical processes, energy conversion systems and energy integration method.
  • Some knowledge in Python and Lua is desirable.

Project plan

The study includes:

  1. Participation in a collaborative technology program of the IEA
  2. Contribution of a database of models and methods for assessing industrial symbiosis
  3. Analysis of the role of the industrial process integration in the industry decarbonization
  4. Collaborative research with 12+ international partners to develop data-driven models
  5. Promotion of technology transfer between industry and researchers

Observation

The project is related to the International Energy Agency and the Task XXIV of the TCP IETS
