Yi Zhao（赵羿）
I am currently a third-year PhD student at IPESE. I received my bachelor from Zhejiang University in 2019 and my master from École Polytechnique in 2020. I come from Xiangxaing, Hunan Province, China. I like playing guitar and strategy games.
My research
Before joining IPESE, I worked at TotalEnergies and I continued to collaborate with them on my PhD project.
My research work aims to provide TotalEnergies with insights for transitioning from their current Refining and Chemicals operations to the future ‘Renewables & Platform’ using advanced optimization methods developed at IPESE, EPFL for different scenarios and markets.
