Hello! I’m an IT Manager and Developer at IPESE-EPFL, with a diverse background shaped by experiences in Portugal, Switzerland, and Finland. At 28, my career has grown from a strong foundation in Business Information Technology, blending technical expertise with creativity. I’m passionate about utilizing AI tools and open-source Large Language Models (LLMs) to drive innovation and create practical solutions, particularly where technology meets real-world applications.
My research / work
At IPESE-EPFL, I oversee IT systems, manage software development, and drive innovation with AI tools and open-source LLMs. My role blends technical problem-solving with creativity, supporting a team focused on Industrial Processes and Energy Systems.
Before EPFL, I worked as a Research Assistant at HES-SO, contributing to national and European projects. My experience spans geodata management, full-stack web development, and agile leadership. I led frontend development for the citiwatts.eu initiative and worked on mobile app development and UX/UI research, honing my ability to create user-centered solutions.
With a degree in Business Information Technology and a passion for integrating technology with practical applications, I am dedicated to developing tools and systems that drive meaningful change.
